Sustainability
Good for you. Better for the earth.
Every choice we make at Ksoak is guided by one question: does this leave the world better than we found it? Here's how we answer that question — every single day.
0 Trees
Cut to make Ksoak tissue
Bamboo is a grass, not a tree. Harvesting it doesn't require felling — the stalk regrows from the same root system, again and again.
3 Months
For bamboo to fully regrow
Compare that to 20–50 years for a hardwood tree. Bamboo is the fastest-regenerating plant on earth — and we use only its outer skin.
0 Chemicals
Used in our production process
No bleach, no chlorine, no optical brighteners, no synthetic binders. Our tissue is processed using only water and mechanical methods.
100%
Compostable — product and packaging
Every sheet, every roll, every piece of packaging is fully compostable. Nothing we make ends up in landfill if you choose to compost it.
No Chemicals. Ever.
What's not in Ksoak is just as important as what is.
Conventional tissue paper is bleached with chlorine compounds, treated with optical brighteners, and bound together with synthetic resins. These chemicals don't just stay in the factory — they end up on your skin, in your home, and in the waterways when the tissue breaks down.
Ksoak uses none of them. Our bamboo fibres are processed using only water and mechanical pressure. The result is tissue that is genuinely pure — not just marketed as natural, but actually free from every synthetic chemical, from grove to shelf.
Regeneration, Not Depletion
Bamboo gives back. We make sure it always can.
We use only the outer skin of the bamboo stalk — the part that grows back fastest and requires no replanting. The root system stays intact, the grove stays healthy, and within months the stalk has regrown to its full height.
This is what regenerative sourcing looks like in practice. Not just 'sustainable' in the sense of not destroying — but actively restorative. The land we source from is healthier for our presence, not despite it.
Fully Compostable
When you're done with it, the earth takes it back.
Every Ksoak product — tissue, packaging, and all — is fully compostable. Toss a used sheet into your compost bin and within weeks it has broken down completely, adding organic matter back to the soil.
Ksoak vs Conventional Tissue
The difference is in what we leave out.
The Bigger Picture
Every roll is a vote for a different kind of world.
Tissue paper is one of the most consumed single-use products on earth. By choosing bamboo over trees, chemical-free over bleached, compostable over landfill — you're casting a vote, every single day, for the kind of world you want to live in. That's what Ksoak is for.
